Weeksie’s Pizza in Dover Is Closing for Good on Friday

We just saw some news from Weeksie's Pizza Facebook page:

I called Weeksie's today and someone named Eric answered the phone.  Eric told me that their leased space was sold by Rich, the owner to another business who will renovate the space in to an English Pub.

From the comments on their Facebook page, the Dover community will be sad to see it go.  Dave said:

Our family is sad to lose our favorite pizza place! Your bacon cheeseburger pizza will live on in our memories. Thanks for all the great food & service over the years, and best wishes!

Oh, man, this is definitely saddening news. We LOVE and have LOVED visiting and getting to know everyone. Rich you definitely know how to take care of your customers and made us feel welcomed with great food. You all will definitely be missed ...

Weeksies was by far one of my favorite places to work. The friendships made there and the memories will last my lifetime. Not to mention the wonderful food!! I am sad to hear of the closing but wish you the best for the future!!
