Who Wants To Buy A Ski Resort?

Saddleback Mountain is for Sale.

Two months ago on Facebook, management at Saddleback in Rangeley said they were in 'serious negotiations' with a new buyer.

That buyer was hopefully going to fund a replacement of a ski lift, and hopefully be able to open for the winter.

According to a report on WMTW, channel 8 in Maine:

"Management said there are no new developments in the process. The attempts to fund the chairlift replacement started this summer, and word of a sale came early this fall, but there’s still no movement on either option. Members of management said they hope to have a buyer who would allow them to open this season."

I'm not sure what the price tag is on Saddleback, but if your dream is to have your very own ski mountain, just get some friends together and pass the hat!
