The Woodman Institute Museum in Dover has been open so long that some of the items on display 101 years ago most likely weren't old enough to meet the definition of a museum piece.

Local brew masters 7th Settlement is joining the festivities this year.

According to Fosters.com;

To help mark the occasion, and to raise money for the museum, the 7th Settlement Brewery is hosting a fundraiser April 18 featuring a beer brewed specifically for the occasion.

The brew is called the Woodman IPA, and made it's debut last year.

New on exhibit this year will be a horse that was once part of a carousel that was near Willand Pond when that was a recreation destination.

The Woodman Institute Museum on Central Ave in Dover is a great way to spend a few hours learning about the history of many of our local communities.

Once open, the museum's regular hours are Wednesday through Sunday 10am-5pm.
