Bear Sightings In Dover – Don’t Leave Tasty Trash Out

Bear sightings here in Dover has given me a reminder for my neighbor to take down his bird feeder!

According to the City of Dover's Facebook page:

Following recent reports of bear sightings at various locations throughout the city, the Dover Police Department and NH Fish and Game are reminding people to store trash in airtight containers, preferably in a garage if possible, and to avoid putting meat in compost piles. In addition, Fish and Game also reminds residents that bird feeders should have been removed by April 1

April!  Bird feeders should have been taken in - in April.  C'mon, Dude next door!  We live in the same neighborhood!  I like bears and all, but I'd prefer they stay away from our neighborhood!
