When I order take out, I've been trying to order strictly from local restaurants and to tip handsomely.

This pandemic is heartbreaking for so many reasons.

But it will be even more devastating if when this is finally all behind us, we can't eat at our favorite local restaurants because they weren't able to stay afloat.

When I saw that Patty B's in Dover is opening up for curbside pickup from 1-7pm Monday through Saturday, I let out a shriek of pure joy!

Patty B's has been described as a piece of Boston's North End transplanted here on the Seacoast. Everything from their wine selection, to their homemade pastas to their decadent desserts, Patty B's is Italian cuisine at its finest.

Can you think of a more comforting quarantine meal than homemade chicken parm and garlic bread? 'Cuz I can't!

Here is how they revealed the news to their Facebook followers:

What's the first thing you are going to order from Patty B's? I'm going with the penne a la vodka with sausage. YUP, that's how I roll!

Take a peek at the menu so you are prepared for Wednesday:

YAY Patty B's! We are so delighted to see you open for business.
