High marks for the Granite State!

The folks at Wallethub.com recently compared the 50 states as well as DC based on many characteristics of "family friendliness".

They considered "median family salary', "unemployment rates" as well as "affordable housing" to name a few.

They also ranked child care and education, affordability and family fun.

New Hampshire came in second place! They only trailed North Dakota as the best state to raise a family. Our friends to the left of us, Vermont came in third, while Massachusetts was ranked 6th. Maine finished 20th.

This is not news for those of us who have lived in NH and love it more with each passing year. I just hope surveys and studies like this don't travel too far, as I don't want our beloved state to become too crowded.
