Famous TV Chef To Open Durham Restaurant Before Thanksgiving

According to an article in Fosters, Ciao Italia Ristorante is coming to Durham.  All those wishes you wished of being in the room smelling the beautiful smells coming out of Mary Ann Espisito's kitchen while watching her TV show are coming true.

The restaurant will be located at 56 Main Street in Durham and is expected to open later this fall, according to the article, sometime before Thanksgiving.

The article also has Mary Ann quoted as saying,

“I want this to be their neighborhood go-to restaurant........ Where they are treated like family. They have a favorite booth, the hostess knows their name. That personal connection that’s what Italian food does. It connects people at the table and in many other ways.”

Paul Lally, a good friend of The Shark, is the Executive Producer of the TV show, Ciao Italia, filmed on location at Mary Ann's house in Durham and running on NHPTV.  I am sure that Paul will be a regular at the restaurant as he is on set.
