Farm Volunteers Working to Rescue Abandon Puppies in Chichester
Okay, as much as I hate stories like this, I'm happy it happened close to an animal rescue.
The Live and Let Live Farm in Chichester discovered a litter of puppies that were "dumped in an abandoned lot." UG! Who could do such a thing? Anyway..... the puppies are about 5 weeks old and are full of internal and external parasites.
Currently, the farm is working to put the puppies with a volunteer foster.
This is a frustrating story and I understand the anger that must come from so many, including me.
If you can't afford to take care of the animals or if you don't want them for whatever reason, why just leave them unattended so they get sick? Why not just bring them to IN to the rescue? What could be the reason not to bring them inside so they can get the proper care they need?
I just don't get it.
Think about what those poor puppies had to go through before someone from the farm came to rescue them. What a welcome that is in to this world.
