The work will be between Exit 4 and the Little Bay Bridge.

The NH Department of Transportation has announced work that will involve the installation of a full-span overhead sign structure between Exit 4 and the Little Bay Bridge.

This work will take place Monday night beginning at 9pm, and will include short-term road closures and rolling roadblocks on the turnpike in both the northbound and southbound directions, as well as a longer-term single lane closure in the southbound direction.

Weather permitting, the work on Monday, September 21, is expected to be completed in one night. Like baseball, in case of a rain-out, work would be scheduled for the next day.
