One of my fondest memories of a child was going to the Milford Drive-In on Elm Street with my Mother and my sisters to see "The Lady is a Tramp."  I remember thinking how cool it was that I could just hang out in the back seat (we put the seats down in the station wagon so I could lay down) and get food brought to me and watch a cartoon.  Life was good.

Thank goodness the Milford Drive-In is still alive and well on Elm Street and now is your chance to work there!  According to their website, they are accepting applications THIS SATURDAY from 1 - 4pm.

The building right next to the Milford Drive-In used to be a Bowling Alley.  My parents, Dick and Ella Sullivan managed the bowling alley for several years and I got to go to work with them on many occasions.  I've known the smell of the spray they used on the shoes since as far back as I can remember.  I used to use the ball return as a slide and I ran down the alley to manually knock down the pins - something that would send both my parents in to a tizzy.

I have such fond memories of Elm Street in Milford and I am so happy the Drive In is still there after all these years.
