He's made two starts and it hasn't been good. The last one was a little better than the first one.

 

Like any other pitcher or baseball player, you want to get into some kind of normal routine. His first start came ten days after the trade so he was all off with his mechanics.

 

The next game was in Baltimore against the team that just traded him, so, it's a tough way for a guy to find his rhythm. - Tom Caron on Cashner's Rough Outings

Mr. Caron added that in ten starts, Cashner has gone six or more innings against the Bronx Bombers, if he can do that tonight, it should bode well for Boston's chances.
