New Name For Verizon Wireless Arena

The company that manages the arena, SMG, has signed a deal with Southern New Hampshire University for the naming rights.

Starting September 1, it will be known as 'SNHU Arena".

Earlier this week, the university stated that the partnership will include information booths for prospective students, internships for SNHU students, and the use of the arena for SNHU athletic events as well as graduations.

Concert goers and Monarch fans need not worry, as the facility will still host entertainment, sporting and community events.
