Less than a week ago I told you about my three favorite birds to see during the spring migration and lo and behold, I've snapped pictures of two of them!

It has been my experience that the Indigo Bunting is very elusive and only seems to feed at dusk.

Since it's an iridescent bird, it looks like a small starling or grackle on the image above.

Granted I'm not exactly Mario Cea Chavez with the shot above but you can see just how brilliant the shades of blue can be on this pesky passerine.

The other bird on my Top 3 is The Baltimore Oriole and thankfully, they are nowhere near as tough to spot as the mysterious Indigo Bunting. Once an oriole knows that you have oranges, he and she (the females are equally pretty) will visit any time of the day and will eat for long stretches of time.

This leaves me with only The Scarlet Tanager to capture with my trusty Galaxy S8. Happy hunting!
