Shop Local Seacoast Businesses This Holiday Season
2020 holidays will not look like any other year. We know this by now that we can't have those big gatherings that we've had year after year. We CAN, however, still get a little something for the people who we love. It's one of my favorite things to do to watch my family open their gifts. Especially if they really love what I got for them!
You probably know that I love to shop and I especially love to shop local, so I was very happy to see Kathy McGraw Sheedy's post on the (un)Official City of Dover Facebook page that highlights the small businesses on the Seacoast that are selling some great gift ideas! You can check out the list by clicking here.
You should refer back to this article from time to time to see who has been added.
Several artists have been hit particularly hard because of the pandemic. It may have been because most of the Fairs where they sell their work were cancelled this year. I was happy to see many artists on the list like Pottery By Dee. She creates some beautiful work! What a perfect, original gift idea!
You can also check out Homemade by Rivka. Her website has a selection of jellies and jams made in Somersworth!
Here's an idea: Fill a basket with all local products from our wonderful local artisans. How great would that be? Maybe this is a subliminal message to my husband to check out the list for some perfect ideas for his wife?
