Open Road Tolls will be shut down on Interstate 95 at the Hampton tolls tonight, Tuesday, May, 23, 2017 from 7:00 p.m to 2:00 a.m Wednesday morning.

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces the planned closure of a section of NH Route 107 in East Kingston for work on rehabilitating a railroad crossing. The Maine and New Hampshire Departments of Transportation have announced lane closures.

Electrical work will close the bridge from 10pm-5am.

The good news is it's the final phase of construction in this area.

NHDOT says bridge is not cooperating with it's operators.

The work will be from Exit 17 to Exit 18. Thank goodness this is taking place at night.

Bridge inspections are scheduled for next week.

Paving will start today after weather forced a delay.

The majority of the work will be done at night beginning May 22.

The opening is set for later this week.

This work will include ramp closures on the Rt.1 Bypass in Portsmouth.

The work will be between Exit 4 and the Little Bay Bridge.

Summertime means construction delays on major roadways. If you are planning to be passing through the Rt.4 Traffic Circle on Friday, pay attention.

I get delayed every time I drive over that bridge, so this is not news to me.

Here's a traffic head's up. If your commute takes you on Rt.108 through Newmarket or the Exit 5 area of the Spaulding Turnpike, you might be spending more time in your car.
