These Communities Are Rated New Hampshire’s Best For Singles
You've spent most of the day scrolling social media. Each site, full of happy loving couple wishing each other a life full of happiness, complete with full press mush. Then, there's you. The single.
Your search continues, but it doesn't have to go far. Recently, New Hampshire was voted #1 in the nation for online dating. With that in mind, let's get more specific. According to data collected by homesnacks.net, they recently came up with a list of the top 10 best cities for singles here in the Granite State. They used the following:
- Population density
- % of population that’s male vs. female (closer to a 50-50 ratio is better)
- % of households with kids
- Median age
- Number of unmarried people in each city
Coming in #1, to no one's surprise, was Portsmouth. Given the vibrant social scene, couple with the above statistics, it's a shoe-in. it beat an equally predictable Manchester, listed as #2. Keene listed as #3 wasn't a surprise, given the young population. Pretty much, if you're a city in southern New Hampshire, you're in the top 10.
