Americans like to take road trips. That's for sure. Nearly three out of four say road tripping is a "much more pleasant experience than flying," according to OnePoll via the South Florida Reporter.

When Americans were asked about the places on their "travel bucket list" in the U.S., two New England destinations were in the top 10.

Tied at number eight on the list:
22% want to see the autumn foliage anywhere in New England.
22% also want to go to Cape Cod in Massachusetts.

The Grand Canyon is number one on American's travel bucket list at 36%. Yellowstone National Park (35%) and Niagara Falls (34%) are numbers two and three.

What's on your travel bucket list? Is it a place in New England or somewhere else in the U.S.?
