Dropkick Murphys will do something that hasn't been done in the 108 year history of Fenway Park AND will have a little help from none other than Bruce Springsteen.

And for an early bird like me, the 6pm starting time on Friday, May 29th will be GLORIOUS!

This is a completely free show to stream on their website but you are encouraged to donate. The funds will go to several local, national and international COVID-19 relief charities.

As a Red Sox fan, there will always be a place in my heart for The Boss.

He was the first performer to host an ENTIRE concert in center field. It happened in 2003 and in my mind, it served as a cosmic cleansing of all the bad vibes that haunted that park and its franchise for 80 years plus.

Wouldn't you know it? The next year the unthinkable happened and the Red Sox were World Series Champions. And who was singing the turn of the century theme song 'Tessie' throughout that entire improbable run? Dropkick Murphys!

This show will take me back to the days when I'd have given my very soul for The Sox to win it all and I can't wait to scream 'ShippinUPTABahhhston!' at my laptop on May 29th.
