The career guidance website Zippia put together a list of states with people that are most likely to drink alcoholic beverages during work hours. With more and more people working from home during the pandemic, the boundaries may be blurred. The added stress and anxiety of this crisis is another factor to take into c‪onsideration. Many people are probably self-medicating, because they don't know how else to cope.

One New England state made the top 5 list of on-the-job drinkers. It's actually pretty high on that list at number two.
