Running Back Steven Jackson To Sign With Patriots

Remember Steven Jackson? The former running back for the Rams and the Falcons. Yea, he's back, and he'll be wearing a Patriots jersey this time.

Obviously, the Pats are banged up right now and need some depth in the running back department so they signed free agent, veteran running back, Steven Jackson, according to NESN. It's only a 1 year deal. Probably not much money involved.

He's a 3 time Pro Bowler and led the NFC in rushing in 2009. Jackson will join Brandon Bolden, James White and Joey Iosefa in the backfield. Nice to have some veteran experience joining the running back crew and he can catch passes, so he's a double threat. He looks like he stayed in shape, check out his tweet:
