The Epping School board meeting was last night, held at a different location because of the size of the crowd, at the Epping Middle School Gymnasium.  There was some controversy over a Trump T-shirt that a girl wore to school to show her Red, White and Blue on America Day when she was asked to cover it up by the school's Principal.  You can read the background from a blog I did yesterday.

According to a story from WMUR, Valerie McKenney, school superintendent for Epping said,

I want each and every one of you to know, that from the bottom of my heart, I am truly sorry.

The report also goes on to say that "appropriate action" has been taken against the Principal of the school who asked the girl to cover the Trump t-shirt.

From the report, it sounds like this will become a teaching moment for all involved, teachers and students, to be more tolerant, no matter what your political beliefs are.
