Bloom’n Cow Suddenly Shutters Rochester & Newmarket Locations

Owners made the decision to hit the reset button, as two local shops will close in the next few weeks.

As ice cream shops wind down for the season, one local popular brand will close both locations. According to a Facebook post, the decision was both personal and professional.Owner Dawn Lewis stated  "the last eight years were beyond any of my expectations. I have met so many wonderful, interesting, creative, kind, generous and spirited old souls; you will not be forgotten as you all have all enriched my life greatly. It has been a privilege getting to know your families and watch your children grow into young adults." She went on to individually thank many of the friends and family who helped the business become a success.Also noting that it was "truly a family operation." Concerning what lead to the closure, no further details were publicly available.

According to Union Leader, the Rochester location will close on Nov. 30 and that her Newmarket shop will be shuttered on Dec. 7.
