Rejoice Patriots fans! James 'Sweet Feet' White has returned for another season with The New England Patriots. Here's the reason that I think this wonderful news is so surprising.

Almost every single Saturday and Sunday since we have been keeping ourselves indoors for the betterment of world health, I've had a very regimented schedule of television watching.

For two hours each weekend morning from 10AM until Noon I am focused like a laser beam on NESN as they broadcast 'The Lombard Line', a very entertaining show that primarily discusses sports gambling and the ins and out of every day sporting news.

The man that the show is named after, Michael Lombardi, is not only a well respected former NFL executive but also a former member of The New England Patriots coaching staff.

I love this show. Not only for the general subject matter of sports gambling, but also because Mr. Lombardi has a bold personality that I can only describe as hilarious.

The guarded, and frankly, boring way that anyone involved with the Patriots usually discusses anything regarding the team is NOT what you hear on this show.

In my opinion, listening to Lombardi is the best way to get an idea of which way the wind is blowing in Foxboro.

A couple of weeks ago, and I'm paraphrasing here, but, he bluntly said that James White didn't look like he had the same quickness as in previous seasons and thought The Pats would be moving on from him.

I thought for sure that we'd never see Number 28 again after I heard that.

But thankfully, he is back!

He went through and unimaginable family tragedy last season and to say he deserved another shot is a huge understatement.

I'm just so happy that this 3 Time Super Bowl Champion will now be a part of the revamped lineup for 2021!

He is a winner through and through!
